The best way to understand Jacob & Klooster Farms is to look at our visitors. It doesn’t matter how busy or stressed their lives are. When they enter our place, they start smiling.

Tucked away on the farm are two beautifully restored shipping containers, lovingly transformed into charming countryside retreats. Each farmstay features a spacious 10-foot wraparound verandah, a cozy swing, a long table perfect for gathering with friends, and a handy little dry kitchenette for simple comforts.
Picnic
Book a picnic at our farm and relax with loved ones in nature. Choose a morning or afternoon slot. You’re welcome to bring your own games and food—or grab coffee, tea, and sandwiches from our farm store.

In the early 1980s, a colleague invited me to a meeting of the group The Future Professionals of Agriculture. It was at that moment that I truly understood how my situation, in many ways, was similar others.
This openness toward others continued over time. I realized, through each of my engagements, that advocating for change and improvement first requires talking about it. This is how we can identify what unites people, their shared challenges, and the potential solutions.
